Common Conference Room Immediatley following State Police Firearms Facility Steering Committee meeting
First Selectman Mailhos called the meeting to order at 7:06 P.M with the following in attendance; Selectmen Kowalyshyn & Blessington.
- Executive Session – Pending Litigation
First Selectman Mailhos moved to go into Executive Session at 7:07 P.M. inviting Hamel & Branse and the members of the Steering Committee.
Selectman Kowalyshyn seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Kowalyshyn & Blessington) 0 No.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to come out of executive Session at 8:17 P.M.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Kowalyshyn & Blessington) 0 No.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to go into recess at 8:17 P.M.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Kowalyshyn & Blessington) 0 No.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to reconvene the Selectmen meeting at 8:06 P.M.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Kowalyshyn & Blessington) 0 No.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to adopt the recommendation of the Steering Committee; which is to ratify it’s previous recommendation authorizing Branse & Wills, LLC to petition the State Bonding Commission to deny funding for the State Police Firearms Training Facility in Willington.
Selectman Kowalyshyn seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Kowalyshyn & Blessington) 0 No.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to adjourn at 8:30 P.M.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Kowalyshyn & Blessington) 0 No.
